CHINE  FAMOUS TEA

   “Bi  luo  Chun”(green spiral tea) is the most famous brand name for green tea in  China . the origin of the name enjoys a history of more than one thousand years. there is a lot of historical records and legends about it.

Long long ago, at the edge of Taihu lake in China, there was a beautiful girl called Lady Bi Luo. she fell in love with A Xiang, a brave and kind lad. one day, trying to get rid of the evils of the people , A Xing fought against the devil. He conquered the devil, but was seriously injured. in order to cure A Xiang’s injure , land Bi Luo went to the mountains in spite of the severe cold. However, since the tea trees still had not sprouted, she had to hold and ware the buds in her mouth. After day of efforts, the tea trees miraculously sprouted, and Lady Bi Luo used the tea leaves to cure A Xiang’s injure. In memory of Lady Bi Luo, the local people named this kind of tea as “Bi Luo Chun”, chun, in Chinese means Spring.

“Bi Luo Chun” Has been precious teas specially used by the emperors through the history, and the manual processing method has been handed down till today.

 碧螺春

碧螺春产于苏州太湖之滨洞庭东山、西山，茶产于此，四季花果飘香，可谓得天独厚。据载唐宋已有“水月茶”名世，列为贡品。又相传，当地茶农采茶，筐不胜储，因置怀中，茶得热气，异香忽发，制茶者争呼“吓煞人香”，“吓煞人香”者，吴中方言，因以名茶。清康熙帝南巡，江苏巡抚进献此茶，欣获嘉赏，康熙以其名不雅，赐题“碧螺春”，颇能传其色、形、时之神。
